Wood-Aged Czech Pale Lager

We switched up the name a bit, but this is the latest beer to ferment in our trusty foeder, Woody Barrelson. This sunset orange lager has aromas of oak, vanilla, white bread and slight toffee. The foeder lends some oak to the flavour profile and complements malty, floral and light pepper. This particular beer owes much to a trip taken by Shane to Czechia last year, wherein a hop rub of different varieties inspired the use of Sladek, a cross between Saaz and Northern Brewer hops.
