Brewing Bardstown Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout

Blindman takes their Ichorous Imperial Stout and ages it in a different bourbon barrel each year. This year it's the multi-award-winning Bardstown Bourbon Company from Bardstown, Kentucky. This beer pours inky black with aromas of rich pipe tobacco, dark toffee, vanilla, charred oak and deep malt. Flavours of rich toffee, milk chocolate, sharp bourbon and sweet treacle dessert will fill your mouth, rounded out with soft carbonation and a warming finish.
