Wiseacre Second Banana German Hefeweizen Ale

2nd Banana is a traditional German Hefeweizen. It was brewed in the traditional way in our modern brewhouse built exactly for this type of beer. We used 100% German malts and over 50% of this was wheat malt. Together with the Hefeweizen yeast, we produced a well balanced and refreshing beer. The first sip delivers a pure banana flavor and aroma which is produced by the yeast during fermentation, followed by a mild clove flavored finish. These flavors and a slightly higher carbonation, giving this beer a high level of "Spritzigkeit", makes it a perfectly refreshing drink.
