Un-American Pale Ale
Slow Hand Beer Company100% Canadian malt. 100% New Zealand hops. Introducing the Un-American Pale Ale: originally planned as a celebration of the classic American Pale Ale of the early noughties, it came time to order the ingredients for this beer right as the Trump tariffs arrived in the spring. So they made some adjustments. They've set out to recreate the APA using non-American ingredients. They've used Canadian-grown malt, though the stars of the show are the Riwaka and Rakau hops from New Zealand. With this combo they feel they've faithfully recreated the citrus and grapefruit burst expected of a classic American Pale Ale, with an added antipodean twist of mango and passion fruit.
