Russian Imperial Stout

Pours black with flashes of brown at the edges, with a thin tan head. Aroma is primarily sweet date, dark roast coffee, and cacao, with some alcohol notes in the background. Flavour is full of rich roasted-grain complexity, joined by warm prune and other dried-fruit flavours. Warmth presents readily, but is tempered by velvety, smooth mouthfeel that leaves behind sweetness and toasted grain finish. Crafted in St Johns, NL
