Jean is the name of one of Blindman's French oak foeders. They refer to the number of times they've filled and emptied the vessel (in this case a foeder) as a ‘turn’. That’s how they came up with the quite simple name for this beer. It was in foeder Jean, and is from the sixth turn. Jean Turn 6. Each turn is a little different, say, with a different recipe going in, or different yeasts for example. This particular turn was so tasty, they had to release it all by itself.
