Pure Project Apian IPA

Buzzing into cans is our very first murky IPA with honey, Apian. We wanted to challenge ourselves to get the honey character in a fruit-forward IPA, and it turned out just as we'd hoped. Mosaic, Citra, and Cashmere hops create a bouquet of tropical fragrances including pineapple, orange, guava, and passion fruit, which are complemented by the addition of locally harvested wildflower honey from Mikolich Honey and a touch of honey malt. Flavors of raw honey drizzled atop a fresh fruit bowl ensue. Cheers to the worker bees—of both the apian and brewing varieties—for this seasonally unique creation.
