Brewing Belgian Dark Strong Ale

This beer has been brewed to celebrate Blindman's 9th Anniversary, hence that hefty ABV! This year they've added a boatload of caramelized raisins from their BBQ along with Tawny Port and ginger root to accompany the classic dark sticky fruit, bready malt and soft spice that are signatures of this style. This beer has low bitterness for a beer of this strength, subtle sweetness and is extremely smooth. Crafted in Lacombe, AB
