Ethereal 29: Lime & Salt Cerveza

Irrational Brewing Company
Lager4.5% ABV

Their Ethereal series allows them to experiment with brewing lager inspired by those brewed all over the world. For Ethereal 29, they decided to go with a beer inspired by warmer climates and maximum drinkability - a Lime & Sea Salt Cerveza. They opted to keep the body light with floor-malted Pilsner and Chit from Hogarth Malt, and include a touch of sweetness from flaked corn. The cerveza was hopped generously with Saaz, dosed with just the right amount of sea salt, and fermented low & slow with W-34/70. The limes were processed fresh on the brew day, where they utilized the juice and zest in the brewing process. Expect notes of brined limes and fresh-baked bread. Crafted in Edmonton AB
