Pure Project Sweet Retreat Sour

Introducing Sweet Retreat, our newest smoothie beer inspired by a popular dessert: blueberry shortcake! We created a complex malt base for this brew to create flavors of graham cracker crust with a slight tang that reminds us of cheesecake. After fermentation, we took it a step further by adding 2,400 pounds of organic blueberries from Washington. The result? A deep-purple concoction that features aromas of melted blueberry ice cream and pecan praline cookies, with flavors of mixed berries and fresh blueberry jam.
