Suco Tropicalia Papaya Tangerine Sour by Annex Ale Project, beer label

Suco Tropicalia Papaya Tangerine Sour

Annex Ale Project
Sour5% ABV

Annex's brewer Joerg grew up in Brazil and decided that their collective palates needed to meet his take on the Catharina Sour—pride of his home country and unofficial beer of “mais um, por favor.” This isn’t an acid-bomb punch in the teeth. It’s a highly drinkable fruited sour: bright tangerine tang up front, with a deeper, lush papaya underneath. The team opted for a sweet base beer with a lower carbonation to keep it smooth and creamy. The whole thing lands soft, round, and a little luxurious. It’s Brazilian beach culture by way of Calgary brewhouse: easygoing, colourful, and surprisingly cultured. Crafted in Calgary, AB
