The Prohibition Act of 1917 put an end to alcohol consumption in British Columbia for 4 years, and quite frankly was a real big downer. Thanks to the efforts of the newly formed BCLS,in 1921 the act was repealed and BC was declared a “wet” province once again. This Pre-Prohibition Pilsner is brewed to style using ingredients commonly used during that time period including flaked corn and rice. Cheers and Congratulations to the BCLS on their 100 year anniversary! IBU: 26 Crafted in Surrey, BC
