Donnie G Kolsch

While not actually a lager, the Kolsch is a classic German ale style that certainly drinks like one. Clean and crisp, with light bitterness and subtle sweet bready notes, it’s immensely approachable to pretty much anyone, and is extremely sessionable at only 4.4%. The notes of sulfur are mostly too subtle to pick up, but can sometimes pop through on the aroma to the trained nose. A perfect entry point into the world of craft beer for anyone who is making the transition from “macrobrew beer” (mainstream beers such as Molson/Budweiser etc). IBU: 21 Crafted in Canmore, AB
