The melting point of gold is 1064 C, but pull the can out of the microwave! “Solid Gold” is just a beer name and it probably tastes best in the 5 - 10C range. Belgian Golden Strong was originally developed after WWII in a response to the growing popularity of Pilsner beers. It’s like if a Pilsner met and fell smitten with a Belgian Tripel and the two decided to make sweet sweet consensual procreative love. This would be the bouncing baby beer! Solid Gold is no lil' baby though. Weighing in at 8.5%, it should probably be enjoyed cautiously or shared with a pal. The light malt character along with some notes of spice from the Belgian yeast and relatively assertive hopping, make for a wonderfully complex slurping experience. Cheers to putting a little extra shimmer in your day! Crafted in Edmonton, AB
