Mirage City is hopped like an IPA but has the backbone of a multigrain farmhouse ale. Using a technique called hop-dipping, they can build in bold hop notes while bitterness is kept to a minimum. They take a portion of the wort, hop it at a lower temperature, releasing more hop notes while preventing the off-flavours and bitterness that can arise form hopping at higher temps. The result balances tart, herbal, and funky notes with a dry finish. Unlike your eyes, your tongue will never deceive you; this beer is deliciously drinkable. Crafted in Burnaby, BC
