Wren House Agua Fria Cold IPA

For the first time, we offer Agua Fria! Agua Fria is our first Cold IPA. It starts as a classic, all-American Lager style, using 25% corn next to our house Pilsner malt. Fermented at low ale temperature, low-mid 60s, using our reliable lager yeast strain and dry hopped in the same manner as our West Coast IPAs. This beer’s drier, lighter, lager backbone allows our Amarillo, Strata, and Cascade hops to really take the stage aromatically and finish crisper than typical West Coast IPA. A perfect more flavorful replacement for the American Lager lover and a lighter, yet beautifully hoppy beer for the IPA lover.
