Red Sour Ale Aged in a Single Oak Foeder with Colorado Montmorency Cherries and Finished in Tawny Port Barrels Some extended aging on one of our favorite beers just seemed like the right thing to do for our members as one of the last releases of the year. We know you love it and we love you. The Tawny Port barrel presents itself in the form of Cherry wood and grapes and the depth of flavor from the extended aging is apparent. While the fruit is from two seasons ago, it's still there, but as more of an auxiliary and developed characteristic rather than a punch in the mouth tartness. This beer is ready for Christmas present, but would also be happy to see a Christmas yet to come.
