Golden Promise with a hefty dose of malted oats and wheat and torrefied oats and wheat. Dry hopped with Citra, Simcoe and an innovative new trial product: YCH 301 Simcoe. YCH 301 is part of the Yakima Chief Hops Elite Product Trial program that combines the ground-breaking concept of Frozen Fresh Hops and the innovative technology of Cryo Hops® to pioneer a new way to brew fresh hop ales with a pelletized product. Freshly harvested whole cone hops are flash frozen, preserving the delicate nuanced character of fresh hops. The lupulin containing the aromatic hop oils is then separated from the rest of the hop cone and cryogenically processed into concentrated frozen lupulin pellets, which are shipped frozen directly to the brewery. Golden yellow and slightly hazy, sweet with a hoppy finish. Tropical aromas of mango and passionfruit, hints of honey, grapefruit and pine. Like a liquid pineapple upside down cake.
