Wicked Weed Sombra Sour (2018)

Sombra is an American sour ale aged for 17 months in a variety of barrels, including wine, bourbon, gin, rum, brandy, and pink tequila. This array of barrels provides unmatched complexity, complemented by the addition of Montmorency cherries, cocoa nibs, cinnamon, and habanero peppers. Once this Mexican Chocolate-inspired red sour ale reaches its peak, we blend the barrels to attain the perfect resonance of our house sour culture with cherries, chocolate, cinnamon, and peppers.
